Utilizing four Hypex NC502MP NCORE modules mounted on robust heatsinks, this is the perfect 8-channel amplifier for those with large 7.1 surround system setups, very demanding surround/height speakers, or those running a 7ch music system with full range speakers. Enjoy sound that is faithful to the source thanks to flat frequency response and low distortion.
The Hypex NC502MP NCORE is an all-in-one dual channel amplifier module. The entire topology, including incorporated SMPS, was designed by Hypex for up to 500 watts of power per channel (all channels driven) at incredibly low levels of distortion and noise floor.
NOTE: While the 8ch NC502MP amplifier uses (2) power plug inlets, it will easily run off of a typical 15A home circuit.
It DOES NOT need a dedicated circuit(s)…just one of the many advantages of Class D efficiency.
Also, while we understand the hesitation by some to use an 8ch amplifier for 7ch duty, (such as a 7.1 surround setup) there are no performance issues with leaving one channel unused.

Custom I/O Board:
- Neutrik XLR connectors
- Gold plated 5-way speaker binding posts
- Auto Sensing On/Off
- 12v trigger On/Off
- Muted soft-start/shutdown (minimizes speaker “pop” when turning on and off)
- Clipping Indication (via front power LED)
- Error Indication (via front power LED)
RCA vs. XLR
While our amplifiers use XLR inputs, it is perfectly fine (and fully supported by Hypex) for customers to use RCA to XLR cables to connect the amplifier to a source that only has RCA outputs.

Our cases may not be much to look at, but unlike our competitors who use overseas manufacturing, we have all of our cases manufactured in Nova Scotia, Canada (Protocase, Inc). This is part of our commitment to keep as much of our amplifiers as "home grown" as possible. It also ensures the highest possible quality aluminum and extremely precise CNC manufacturing.
